Everyone is encourage to bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the concerts In order for us to make sure that Fountain Park looks its best and maintained prior to to the concert we ask that you Please Do NOT set up Lawn Chairs in the Park on days of the concerts until after 12pm. Your cooperation would be much appreciated!

Inclement Weather Location
All concerts begin at 7:00 p.m. Bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the concert outside. Food is available by 5:30 p.m. Fountain Park is located just west of downtown Van Wert at the corner of W. Main and Jefferson St.
If Inclement weather occurs and the concert cannot be held outdoors, it will be moved into the Niswonger Performing Arts Center, 100700 SR 118 S, Van Wert, OH, just on the south side of Van Wert.

A perfect fit for the kick off the summer celebrations!
Friday June 21st The best of Classic Rock comes to Fountain Park with BOSTYX, a great, family-friendly addition to any summer classic rock festival or concerts in the park series. Bostyx is the ultimate 1970's feel good classic rock tribute to the music of BOSTON and STYX. Lead singer and guitarist, David Victor, current BOSTON band member is planning to be in Van Wert with Bostyx. It will be the celebration of the 70's and 80's in Fountain Park with "More than a Feeling" "Don't Look Back", "Lady", "Come, Sail Away", "Babe", and "Show me the Way".
Toledo Jazz Orchestra
Friday June 28th To help welcome the Lincoln Highway Antique car show in downtown Van Wert, the Toledo Jazz Orchestra will play tribute to the Sounds of the Big Band Era. Relive those wonderful sounds and songs of the Glenn Miller Orchestra, Tommy Dorsey, Harry James, Woody Herman, and Stan Kenton bands. Dance the night away with some of the best ballads and swing tunes ever written including "Mood Indigo", Woodchoppers Ball", "In the Mood", and so much more.
Lima Symphony Pops Orchestra
Friday July 5th Celebrate Independence Day with the Lima Symphony Orchestra. Make it a big weekend as we join in the "Holiday at Home" festivities in Van Wert. Enjoy the sounds of America as only the Lima Symphony Pops can deliver. It's always a "POP"ular concert!

Friday July 19th MINUTE TO MINUTE is one of the finest tribute bands performing the music of the Doobie Brothers and Michael McDonald. Featuring music from this Grammy Award-winning band, their smooth grooves include, "Listen to the Music", "China Grove", "Minute by Minute", and so much more.
Friday July 26 TED VIGIL, back from the state of Oregon, brings long time John Denver band guitarist, Steve Weisberg. You will literally think you are seeing and hearing John Denver. Since performing in Van Wert a few years back, Ted Vigil has gone on to new heights with his Rocky Mountain Tribute to John Denver.
The Ides of March
Friday August 9th The Fountain Park finale features THE IDES OF MARCH with Jim Peterik. When it's signature horn riff and the opening line, "I'm a friendly stranger in the black sedan..." The Ides of March's "Vehicle" burst onto the billboard charts and became the fastest breaking single in Warner Bros. history! Their shows spans three decades of music that includes Jim Peterik;s catalog of Top 40 hits including "Eye of the Tiger", "L.A Goodbye", "Vehicle", "Hold on Loosely", and much more.
The Summer Music Series is Made Possible Through The Van Wert County Foundation
The Performing Arts Department of the Foundation was established in 2002 for the purpose of coordinating all musical activities supported by the Saltzgaber Music Fund. The Fountain Park Summer Music Series and Community Concert Series at the Niswonger Performing Arts Center of Northwest Ohio are supported in part of entirely by The Foundation. Educational workshops and clinics are also offered throught the year for the schools and music community. Paul Hoverman is the Coordinatior of the Performing Arts.
