Everyone is encourage to bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the concerts In order for us to make sure that Fountain Park looks its best and maintained prior to the concert we ask that you Please Do NOT set up Lawn Chairs in the Park on days of the concerts until after 12pm. Inclement Weather Location
All concerts begin at 7:00 p.m. Bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the concert outside. Food is available by 5:30 p.m. Fountain Park is located just west of downtown Van Wert at the corner of W. Main and Jefferson St.
If inclement weather occurs and the concert cannot be held outdoors, it will be moved into the Niswonger Performing Arts Center, 10700 SR 118 S, Van Wert, OH, just on the south side of Van Wert.
Van Wert's very own musicians Come and enjoy music from the talented area musicians who will be in concert at Fountain Park on these following Friday nights: All Concerts will begin at 7pm.

The Summer Music Series is Made Possible Through The Van Wert County Foundation
The Performing Arts Department of the Foundation was established in 2002 for the purpose of coordinating all musical activities supported by the Saltzgaber Music Fund. The Fountain Park Summer Music Series and Community Concert Series at the Niswonger Performing Arts Center of Northwest Ohio are supported in part of entirely by The Foundation. Educational workshops and clinics are also offered through the year for the schools and music community. Paul Hoverman is the Coordinator of the Performing Arts. June 16 The Doo Wah Riders
Hailing from the Indianapolis area, this band of eight talented musicians are the ideal party band to help celebrate the Peony and ArtRageous Festival weekend with a night of dancing and fun. Groove Essential's song list consists of latest in pop and new country, the best of classic rock and 50's hits, the most danceable disco, R & B, Motown, and 80's songs and the most noted swing, big band, ballads, and jass standards. Members of the band have performed with notables such as John Mellencamp.
June 23 Travelin' McCoury's
"High energy Country with a Cajun twist" is how the Doo Wah Riders have been hailed. Their tight musicianship and powerful arrangements of classic, contemporary, and original songs have made them favorites everywhere they go. They have performed with some of the top country stars such as Garth Brooks, Faith Hill, Alabama, Brooks and Dunn to name just a few. They are the ultimate entertainers.
June 30 Lima Symphony Pops Orchestra
A Van Wert and LSO Independence Day tradition, the LSO Pops return to Fountain Park with an evening of great pops music as well as inspiration selections to help start your 4th of July celebration. Led by Maestro Crafton Beck, this regional orchestra always delights the entire family.
The leaders in progressive and traditional bluegrass, the Travelin' McCoury's are one of the most in demand bands in their genre today. They are on the road-and online-entertaining audiences with live shows that include some of the best musicians and singers from all genres. July 7 The U.S. Army Field Band Jazz Ambassadors
America's Big Band is the official touring big band of the United States Army. This 19-member ensemble, formed in 1969, has received acclaim both at home and abroad performing America's original art form, jazz. It is always an honor to welcome our country's finest military musicians to Van Wert!
July 14 The Stranger: Billy Joel Tribute
America's most authentic tribute to the legendary Billy Joel. Formed by native Long Islander Mike Santoro on lead vocals and piano. The Stranger has performed for an impressive list of high profile events, festivals and concerts. Hailing from Charlotte, North Carolina, this band of sic will bring the songs you love of Billy Joel to Fountain Park and will have you dancing and singing along.
July 28 Hotel California
One of Fountain Park's all-time favorite concerts, Hotel California returns to recreate an Eagles concert experience. No one performs the music of this iconic Rock/Country band like Hotel California in their "Salute to the Eagles." By blending their extraordinary vocal and musical talents, Hotel California faithfully and accurately reproduces the sound of the Eagles studio recordings while recreating a classic sound which undeniably transcends the boundaries of Rock, R&B, and Country.
July 21 We've Only Just Begun: Carpenters Remembered

August 11 Southern Drawl
Making their very first appearance in our area, Southern Drawl Band based out of Nashville and Knoxville, TN has been hailed as "one of the nation's hottest emerging bands, ranking top among the best live performances to come along in decades'. Their barn burning version of "Rockytop" was shown on the jumbo-tron of the University of Tennessee's Mighty Vols to over 102,000 fans had has been used on NBC"s Sunday Night Football.
